Project of a small house on stilts, off the ground to enjoy the view of the atlantic forest. The construction is scheduled, completely, in wood.
Also the Mangueira House belongs to the Origami program, like the previous one, the Cajueiros House. The same principles of sustainability have also been respected in this example. The house is nearing completion.
The Cajueiros House, that belongs to Origami Eco Residence, example of sustainable architecture in the region, used bio-compatible materials, low energy production, renewable sources to minimize its ecological footprint in the climate of Brazil. Taking the japanese practice of origami into consideration, the palm fiber roof assumes the shape of zoomorphic forms, folding and sloping its solar panels in relation to the sun’s path throughout the day.

Renovation and expansion of a small old building, with cylindrical silos beside. The design combines the two volumes to a new building can be viewed from the exterior finish. The original piece is kept in the original brick. It is also kept the curvature of the silo wall. Inside is housed a studio painting. Iron structures, corten steel and wood. Spacious panoramic windows.
