Also the Mangueira House belongs to the Origami program, like the previous one, the Cajueiros House. The same principles of sustainability have also been respected in this example. The house is nearing completion.

Mangueira House 2011

The Cajueiros House, that belongs to Origami Eco Residence, example of sustainable architecture in the region, used bio-compatible materials, low energy production, renewable sources to minimize its ecological footprint in the climate of Brazil. Taking the japanese practice of origami into consideration, the palm fiber roof assumes the shape of zoomorphic forms, folding and sloping its solar panels in relation to the sun’s path throughout the day.

Corner building in a historical context, important for the location and public function, imposes itself as the monolithic volume of 12 x 15 meters.

Local Court 1995

Extension of a hotel with the creation of seven bedrooms. The gallery on the first floor is accessed by a spiral staircase. The roof is made of copper with antique effect.

Conteiner Hotel 1992

Paved with "porfido", material of the local mountains, working on arcs. In square spaces, delimited by Istrian white stone, the porfido is placed in concentric circles.
